Samuel P. Marynick, M.D.

Program Director for the Texas Center for Reproductive Health, Dr. Marynick is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology-Metabolism, Andrology and Embryology.
Dr. Marynick received his M.D. at the University of Texas (Southwestern) Medical School in Dallas and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital. From 1974-1977, he studied under world leaders in human reproductive medicine as a Fellow in Endocrinology at the Reproduction Research Branch of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
In 1977 he returned to Dallas and joined the staff of Baylor University Medical Center in the Internal Medicine Departments Division of Endocrinology. In 1983 after attending a national symposium on IVF/ET in Carmel, in California, Dr. Marynick became very interested in in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer.
Dr. Marynick opened his private practice in 1986, specializing in endocrinology and reproductive medicine, and became one of the first private practitioners to use Pergonal® for ovulation induction in the Dallas area. He has conducted both basic and clinical research in general and reproductive endocrinology and the results of his studies have appeared in publications such as The New England journal of Medicine, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, and the Annals of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Marynick's professional interests extend beyond his own medical practice, however. Over the years, he has worked to train medical students, interns, residents, practicing physicians and patients
Dr. Marynick is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the Endocrine Society, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (serving on the ASRM Sessions Management Committee), the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, the Reproduction Biology Professional Group, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society and the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction and Urology. He is also an Attending Physician at Baylor University Medical Center, and Clinical Associate Professor in Internal Medicine at University of Texas (Southwestern) Medical School.
